Spike Lee to follow up ‘When the Levees Broke’ for HBO

HBO will mark the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina with a follow up to Spike Lee's 2006 When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts. HBO announced it was teaming up with Spike Lee and his company 40 Acres and a Mule on the untitled documentary. Lee will produce and direct with Sam Pollard, who will produce and edit. The production begins shooting tomorrow in New Orleans. When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts won three Emmys.
