ITV Studios has announced a £5 million investment in the Kirkstall Road studios in Leeds to upgrade and refurbish the original main building. The changes would accommodate the Emmerdale production center, currently situated on Burley Road, and put in place first class high-def facilities. ITV currently operates out of six different buildings in the Kirkstall Road complex and has now completed a full review of the facilities which started back in March this year.
