Rainbow Media has announced a carriage agreement with Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) to launch Sundance Channel and WE tv on pay TV service mio TV. This marks the first Asian launch for Sundance Channel and the first launch of WE tv outside of the U.S. The channels will launch on December 7 and will be available in both standard and HD, with Mandarin subtitles. The deal also brings the Asian premiere of Monty Python: Almost the Truth (The Lawyer's Cut), on Sundance Channel's SVOD service.
