Tricon announces slew of sales

Toronto-based producer/distributor Tricon Films & Television has announced a number of factual and doc sales into the international market, as well as sales and acquisitions in these genres, drama and lifestyle. Factual/doc sales include a deal with ABC Australia for Edge Codes, a feature-length doc about the art of film editing, as well as sales of cooking shows Restaurant Makeover Season 7 and Fresh With Anna Olson to Asian Food Network, with the latter also being picked up by Digiturk. Also, Casa Club TV in Latin America has taken the 10x30 minute travel-oriented series Living the Life. Additions to Tricon's third-party distribution roster include the documentaries Blinders (examining the horse-drawn carriage industry in New York City), The Story of Furious Pete (which tells the tale of a former anorexic who now participates in eating challenges), Everything's Coming My Way (the story of 87-year-old musician Gordon Thomas), the 13x30 minute series Playing the Odds and music magazine series Arbor Live.
