BBC appoints new Culture Show editor

The BBC has appointed Janet Lee as the new editor of BBC 2's magazine-style arts program The Culture Show. In her new position, Lee will be in charge of running the program across production bases in both London and Glasgow. Lee comes to her new role from her current position as editor of BBC 1's arts and culture strand 'Imagine.' She has held previous positions such as commissioning editor for arts at Channel 4 and series producer on History of Britain. The previous editor for The Culture Show, Edward Morgan, is stepping down to become head of the College of Production at the BBC Academy.
