Banijay acquires Nordisk Film TV

Banijay Entertainment announced the acquisition of Nordisk Film TV, one of Northern Europe's largest independent television production companies. The catalog includes entertainment, serial drama, factual and reality and formats like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Wipeout, Singing Bee and Farmer Wants a Wife. Along with the production side, Banijay has also acquired the distribution arm, Nordisk Film TV World. CEO Jacob Houlind and CCO Peter Hansen will continue to manage and develop the company under its current brand name Nordisk Film TV.
