Smithsonian Channel has announced its programming lineup for Halloween, which includes a slate of scary series and specials. The marathon, which runs Friday October 30 to Sunday November 1, includes episodes of Nick Baker's Weird Creatures on The Frankenstein Fish and The Real Gremlin as well as episodes of The Tomb Detectives that look at an archaeological dig that unearths human remains (sans heads), the excavation of a grave from the 1800s which contains bones arranged in the pattern of a skull and cross bones and mummified remains discovered in a bog in Northern Europe.
