Discovery’s London business affairs team announces new hire

Discovery Networks International has hired Helen Fox Gladwell as vice president, business affairs and programming legal, with responsibility Discovery's program acquisitions team across the UK and EMEA. Fox Gladwell joins Discovery from ITV, where she spent four years as director of business and legal affairs within ITV Global Entertainment. When she begins her new role on September 7th, she will work closely with Barbara Bellini, SVP, business affairs and programming legal, on increasing third party content supply deals for the UK business, which now has 12 Pay TV brands. Fox Gladwell will also manage commercial relationships with external suppliers, negotiate and advise on terms of trade and produce all content agreements for third party programming deals.
