ZDF rebranding doc channel

German public broadcaster ZDF has announced it is rebranding its documentary channel, ZDFDokukanal, to ZDFneo. Starting November 1, the doc channel will target viewers between 25 and 49 years old, as well as younger families. Prime time for the channel will start at 9pm and ZDF plans to bring new formats to the channel while also running a mix of factual entertainment formats, documentaries, movies, music programming, and international TV series.
