Sundance Institute announces grant recipients

The Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program has announced the recipients of its grant awards. Receiving development grants are Nancy Kates and her doc Regarding Susan Sontag and Yance Ford's Strong Island, about the violent death of the director's brother. The recipients of the production/post-production grants are: Tomáö Kudrna's All that Glitters; Michèle Stephenson and Joe Brewster's An American Promise; Anne Makepeace's Âs Nutayunean - We Still Live Here (w/t); Julia Bacha's Budrus Has a Hammer; Richard Ray Perez's Cesar's Last Fast; Marcus Vetter and Alex Bakri's Cinema Jenin; Judith Helfand's Cooked; Yoav Potash's Crime After Crime; Rob Lemkin and S. Thet's Enemies of the People; Stephen Maing's High Tech, Low Life (w/t); Joe Wilson and Dean Hamer's In a Town Called Oil City; Robin Hessman's Russia's Pepsi Generation (w/t), and finally Nino Kirtadze's The Georgian Year.
