The Sundance Channel has announced a video-on-demand service which will offer documentaries and international films. Called Sundance Selects, the service will debut on August 26 with Spike Lee's new documentary, Passing Strange: The Movie and other docs Complete History of My Sexual Failures, Kassim the Dream and Nick Nolte: No Exit, as well as animated film Mary and Max and Unmade Beds from Alexis Dos Santos. It will be available on cable TV systems owned by operators Comcast Corp, Cox Communications and Cablevision Systems Corp, which will reach up to 50 million U.S. households.
