Electric Sky scores with disaster and pandemic docs

Throughout July, factual distributor Electric Sky made a slew of deals for its docs that deal with natural disasters, pandemics and terrorist attacks. German prodco ColourFIELD's The Virus Empire, about dangerous viruses, has sold in over 20 territories, including to TVO in Canada, BBC Australasia, TVI in Portugal and DRTV in Denmark. Electric Sky has also sold White Crow Production's doc about a man with a gift for predicting disasters - Premonition Man - around the world. Quicksilver Media's Terror in Mumbai and Orphans of Burma's Cyclone, which filmed eight children orphaned by cyclone Nargis last year, have both sold to VRT and ABC in Australia while Favourite Films Customs 2 for Sky Real Lives has been licensed by Nine Network, Australia. Finally, Electric Sky Productions' own observational series Customs 2 has been sold to SBS Australia and Vertical City, following the world's bravest window washers as they clean iconic skyscrapers, was sold to History Channel Iberia and DRTV in Denmark.
