Australian Broadcasting Corporation content exec heading to Southern Star

Courtney Gibson, executive head of content creation for Australian public broadcaster ABC, will be leaving her post in October to become director of programmes at Southern Star Entertainment (Deal or No Deal, Big Brother). In a statement, Gibson said, '...after more than 10 years commissioning programs for our public broadcasters, it's time to cross back over to the other side of the equation to be a maker of shows and content, for a variety of networks and audiences.'
