Chinese hackers took over the Melbourne International Film Festival site to replace the fest's content with the Chinese flag and anti-Kadeer slogans, in response to a planned screening of a documentary about Uighur leader Rebiya Kadeer. This follows a visit by Chinese officials with Richard Moore, head of the Melbourne International Film Festival, pressuring Moore to drop the film Ten Conditions of Love, by Australian documentary-maker Jeff Daniels, and revoke Kadeer's invite to the screening.
