BBC Worldwide to launch two channels on South Korean broadband platform

BBC Worldwide Channels has struck a deal with South Korea's SK Broadband platform that will see SK Broadband carry two of its new channels. BBC Entertainment (to be carried on SK's Channel 251) and BBC Lifestyle (to be carried on SK's channel 546) will be available from July 1, 2009. Seoul-based SK Broadband is one of the largest providers of high-speed broadband Internet access in South Korea.
