Endemol to distribute Seinfeld project outside of US

Endemol has announced it will be the exclusive international distribution partner for The Marriage Ref, the new reality-comedy project from Jerry Seinfeld and partner Ellen Rakieten. Seinfeld and Rakieten (formerly with The Oprah Winfrey Show) will be exec producers for the show, slated to run for six episodes in March 2010. Endemol will be the exclusive distributor of the format across all platforms outside of the USA and will also produce local versions of the show around the world, besides globally distributing the NBC series. 'This is without doubt the most significant third party distribution deal Endemol has secured since we announced our intention to grow this part of our business last year,' said Tom Toumazis, chief commercial officer at Endemol Group.
