BBC2 commissions ‘abrasive art docs’

The Guardian reports that a new series of 'intentionally abrasive art docs' for BBC2 and BBC4 are reminiscent of John Berger's 1970s series Ways of Seeing. The docs, directed by Waldemar Januszczak, Roger Scruton and Matt Collings among others, revolve around beauty and its purpose and were commissioned by BBC2 controller Janice Hadlow.
