DOC ‘cautiously optimistic’ about new CMF board

The Documentary Organization of Canada (DOC) has announced it is pleased with the nominations of new Canada Media Fund (CMF) board members. DOC feels the nomination suggest the Department of Canadian Heritage is taking the issue of board member independence seriously. Still, DOC remains concerned about the eligibility of in-house productions from broadcasters for CMF funding and continues to request clarity as to the Fund's support of the doc genre.
