Knightscove to buy Ellis Entertainment

Canadian distributor Knightscove has announced its non-binding letter of intent to acquire the operations of production company and distributor Ellis Entertainment. The 45-year old family-owned and operated Ellis Entertainment owns worldwide copyright to a 600-title strong film library, which includes a notable library of wildlife and nature programming. Ellis' catalog in the North American DVD market will be managed by Knightscove subsidiary Morningstar.
