Seven directors from different parts of the world will be honored for their creativity, innovation and personal vision at this year's MIPDOC. The documentary filmmakers who will receive this year's International Trailblazer award are Marianna Kaat (European Trailblazer), Craig Matthew (African Trailblazer), Nahed Awwad (Middle East Trailblazer), Robert Lang (North American Trailblazer), Mark Hartley (Australian Trailblazer), Jeong Ook Lee (Korean Trailblazer) and Ayumi Ito (Japanese Trailblazer).
