The Sundance Institute has announced the first five grant recipients of the Stories of Change: Social Entrepreneurship In Focus Through Documentary initiative, a $3 million, three-year partnership with the Skoll Foundation. The development and production grant awards help create feature-length independent docs that examine social entrepreneurship. Grant recipients are: Back to School, produced by Julia Parker Benello and social entrepreneur is Sakena Yacoobi; Green Shall Overcome, directed by Tracy Heather Strain and Megan Gelstein, social entrepreneur is Van Jones; Poor Consuelo, directed by Peter Friedman and social entrepreneur is PCI-Media Impact; The Team, directed by Patrick Reed and produced by Peter Raymont, social entrepreneurs are John Marks and Susan Collin Marks; Youthbuild Documentary, directed by Annie Sundberg, social entrepreneur is Dorothy Stoneman;
