Screen Australia increasing development funds by 60%

After three months of consultation, Screen Australia has released its 2009 Development and Production Financing Programs. The program includes a raft of changes, including a reduction of the number of development strands from 35 to seven; the introduction of the Enterprise Program, which provide multi-year funding to allow for the development of a slate of projects rather than single-project funding. In 2009/10, Screen Australia will spend more than $10 million on development. For all of the details, see the press release.
