EyeSteelFilm doc nabs IDFA audience award

The Dioraphte Audience Award goes to RiP: A Remix Manifesto, produced by EyeSteelFilm in co-production with the National Film Board of Canada, announced at the closing of IDFA. The film, about copyright in the new age and focusing on Girl Talk, a mash up musicial, took the majority of the over 40,000 audience votes for the films screened at IDFA. The film's director, Brett Gaylor, was on hand to accept the award, which comes with a prize of €5,000.
