Production on The Contender has started in Singapore. This is the first time the series, which is produced by Mark Burnett Productions and Dreamworks Television, has been filmed outside of the US. Sixteen international boxing hopefuls will duke it out in this fourth season of the 12-episode series, which will be hosted by Tony Danza and premiere in the US in December.
