Toronto-based prodco Lively Media has started production on a seven-part TV series called Gold Medal Plates: The Quest for Canada's Best Chef, which will give a behind-the-scenes look at Gold Medal Plates, Canada's most coveted culinary competition. The series will air on Travel + Escape in the spring of 2009.
