C4I to distribute HBO docs

Channel 4 International now holds the worldwide distribution rights to the documentaries in HBO's catalog. The deal, effective March 1, gives the London-based distributor more than 200 hours of the New York-based pay channel's fare, to rep everywhere except the U.K. and North and Latin America (HBO Enterprises retains these rights). C4I's catalog is 4,000 hours, about 60% of which is docs.
