Nets delay fall launches

In the wake of the terrorist attacks in the U.S. on September 11, several broadcasters have modified their schedules. ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox all pushed back their fall debuts (to September 24, as of press time), acknowledging viewers' preoccupation with the news. The as yet unanswered question for each of the broadcasters is whether audience's tastes will have permanently changed. Reality continues to populate the airwaves - Survivor: Africa (CBS), Love Cruise (Fox) and Lost (NBC) are only three of the offerings this season - but it remains to be seen whether they'll still draw the ratings they once did.
