AETN names MD of Europe

Dean Possenniskie has been appointed managing director, Europe for AETN. Possenniskie has a track record of building successful European channel operations, according to Sean Cohan, SVP, international, and was most recently at BBC Worldwide as SVP & GM, Channels EMEA and previously, GM and VP at MTVNI. Possenniskie will be based in London, and will be responsible for overseeing and growing AETN's interests in channels, content distribution and digital media activities within the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He will report to Sean Cohan and will take on the role in the second half of 2010.
