RTS Craft & Design awards shortlist announced

The Royal Television Society has revealed the shortlist for the RTS Craft & Design Awards 2009/2010. Some of the non-fiction shortlisted nominees are Rod Clarke and Kevin Flay for Life: Insects from BBC Natural History Unit for BBC One; Charlie Hamilton James, Jamie McPherson and Simon Werry for Natural World: Victoria Falls from Halycon Media for BBC and Jonathan Young for Tropic of Cancer from BBC Current Affairs for BBC, all up for the photography award in the genre of documentary/factual and non-drama productions. Up for the tape and film editing award for documentary/factual are the editing team of One Born Every Minute episode 2, produced by Dragonfly Film & Television for Channel 4; Caroline Richards and Julien Temple for Requiem for Detroit from Films of Record for BBC Two and Brian Woods for Jobless from True Vision for BBC One.
