In December 2005, IWC Media became part of RDF Media Group, but the change of letterhead has done little to alter the Glasgow-based prodco’s momentum. In fact, the company rode out of 2006 on the success of such hits as Stephen Fry’s The Secret Life of the Manic Depressive and, if anything, seemed all that much busier in 2007.

Several of the company’s biggest moves were off-screen, however. In August, IWC announced the creation of a new commercial and branded content division under head David Reilly. The new arm will look to develop commercials and branded content programming. IWC also expanded its creative team, adding Franny Moyle as executive producer of arts and popular culture, and Adam Barker as EP of contemporary factual.

On the screen, broadcasters noted the success of such series as Location, Location, Location and Relocation, Relocation.
