Steve-O’s “Killer Karaoke” joins TruTV fall line-up

Based in part on Zodiak Media's Sing If You Can format, Killer Karaoke (pictured) challenges contestants to perform a song while the Jackass star puts them through unexpected physical challenges.

An extreme singing competition series starring Steve-O from Jackass will debut this fall on American cable network TruTV.

Produced by Zodiak USA and based in part on Zodiak Media’s Sing If You Can format, Killer Karaoke (pictured above) will begin airing on October 19.

According to the network, the series “challenges contestants to sing a hit song while Steve-O puts them through the most hilarious and unexpected physical challenges imaginable. It’s the game show that hits all the wrong notes in the best possible way.”

The series joins the network’s fall line-up of returning unscripted offerings that includes a second season of South Beach Tow, the South Beach tow truck reality series from executive producer Jennifer Lopez’s Nuyorican Productions and Bodega Pictures, which will premiere on September 19.

Tuesday night series Hardcore Pawn from Zodiak USA and Sunday night series Storage Hunters from T Group Productions will also return.
