Former Shaw Media and U8TV production executive Fiorella Grossi (pictured) has joined Peace Point Entertainment as head of development.

Grossi, most recently director of original production at Shaw Media in the factual and lifestyle divisions, will oversee Peace Point’s Toronto-based development team, which also includes development executives in Los Angeles and New York.

“Fiorella’s ‘perfect storm’ of experience as an award-winning producer and development executive for some of the industry’s top broadcasters and production companies, in addition to her new media background, make her an invaluable asset at this very exciting time in our growth,” said Les Tomlin, president and CEO of Peace Point Entertainment, in a statement.

Grossi’s TV credits include Wipeout Canada, Intervention Canada, The Lofters, LoveShack and SoGayTV.
