Nordic World has signed distribution deals with Swedish prodco OTW Television, and Danish indies Immergut and Freeport Media.

OTW’s output includes lifestyle, factual entertainment, and advertiser-funded programming, and the formats Everyday Heroes and The Bucketlist. The company is switching representation from Sparks Network to Nordic World.

Nordic World has also signed representation deals with two Danish indies – Immergut, which specializes in comedy formats, and Freeport Media, which focuses on primetime documentaries, reality series and factual entertainment shows.

“It is independents like OTW, Immergut and Freeport, with their creative courage and irreverent approach, that are largely responsible for the Nordic region’s reputation as a breeding ground for fresh and original television,” said Jan Salling, chief operating officer and sales director of Nordic World. “From the outset, our mission has been to fill our catalog with only the best Nordic content. These deals bring that ambition a step closer.”
