“Your Face Sounds Familiar” in France

Endemol’s Your Face Sounds Familiar, a celebrity talent format, has been sold to M6 in France.

M6 has commissioned a primetime series, to be produced by Endemol France, which will debut later this year. In the format, which was created by Endemol Spain, well-known personalities assume a new identity as an iconic music performer, with the catch being that they will be made to look older, younger, or the opposite sex.

The format recently sold to Central and Eastern Europe. “Your Face Sounds Familiar is a brilliantly comedic format, with celebrities delivering iconic performances each week and we very much look forward to the show’s French debut later this year,” said Nicolas Coppermann, president of Endemol France.
