Gold Panda call for entries underway

The documentary competition, held during the Sichuan TV Festival in Chengdu, China, recognizes excellence in projects regarding society, anthropology, and nature and the environment.

The call for entries for the International Gold Panda Awards for Documentary, to be held during the 2013 Sichuan TV Festival in Chengdu, China, is underway.

Co-hosted by the International Gold Panda Awards and China’s CCTV Documentary channel, the awards are presented in three categories: society, anthropology, and nature and environment.

A jury comprised of Chinese and international experts judges the projects received. In 2011, 916 docs from 54 countries and regions were submitted, with 38 films from 15 countries and regions taking awards.

The 2013 Sichuan TV Festival will take place from November 16-18. The deadline for entries for the Gold Panda Awards is June 30. For more information, click here.
