Discovery sets air date for “Airplane Repo”

The U.S. cable network will begin airing Airplane Repo (pictured), an Undertow Films-produced reality series about the high stakes world of luxury repossession, on July 11.

U.S. net Discovery Channel will begin airing a reality series about the world of luxury repossession on July 11 at 10 p.m. EST/PST.

Produced by Undertow Films, Airplane Repo (10 x one-hour, pictured above) follows three teams of luxury repo experts as the navigate the challenges associated with repossessing planes, yachts and other high-end assets from wealthy Americans who have fallen behind on payments.

On-the-job obstacles and challenges can include violent altercations, arrest or unwittingly flying a damaged aircraft.

Matt Renner, Ethan Prochnik and Dan Ilani serve as executive producers for Undertow and Denise Contis serves as executive producer for Discovery.
