Indigo Film and Television names sales head

The London-based distributor has named Sam Partner as head of sales to oversee sales teams in North America, Latin America and several territories throughout Europe.

London-based distributor Indigo Film and Television has appointed Sam Partner as head of sales.

In his new role, he will oversee North and Latin American sales as well as the sales teams in French, Italian and German speaking Europe, Portugal, Spain and Scandinavia.

Before joining Indigo, Partner spent two years managing European and Australian TV accounts for The Pokémon Company. Prior to that he held positions at Filmbank Distributors, Canterbury Television and FremantleMedia.

He joins Indigo as it seeks to expand its catalog and develop a slate of new productions.

“Sam is a welcome addition to our team and we are confident that his previous sales experience will help to enhance our revenue growth,” said managing director David Lawley in a statement. “Sam has a great energy and tremendous strategic vision making him the perfect person to lead our sales team, especially as we go through a new and exciting phase.”
