Turner-owned U.S. cable network HLN will debut a two-hour lifestyle programming block in primetime on Sunday, December 1.

Originally launched in August as a digital-only offering, “upwave” will look at health and wellness topics through the lens of entertainment. A trio of personality-led series will kick off at 7 p.m. EST with Cook Your Ass Off, a Jane Street Entertainment-produced culinary competition series hosted by chef Richard Blais.

On The Tim Ferriss Experiment, the titular host (pictured) and motivational speaker will use his rapid-learning techniques to help viewers overcome their fears in order to confront a daunting challenge. The half-hour series is produced by Zero Point Zero Production.

Finally, the Zero Point Zero-produced The Dose with Dr. Billy follows emergency medicine doctor and author Billy Goldberg as he tackles different medical questions and makes celebrity house calls. In the inaugural episode, the doctor tests a full-body sleeping bag with actor Julianne Moore.
