GSN picks up “Shop ‘Til You Drop”

GSN has acquired the rights to the game show Shop ‘Til You Drop, which has aired on cable networks since 1991.

This marks the first time that the Stone Stanley Entertainment series has been licensed by a cable network for off-network telecasts. Episodes that haven’t been seen in almost a decade will air weekdays starting on December 2 on the network.

Hosted by Pat Finn and co-host Dee Bradley Baker, Shop ‘Til You Drop challenges contestants with pop culture and consumer knowledge tests and shopping challenges.

The classic game show has aired on a number of networks from 1991 to 2005, with almost 1,000 episodes produced.

GSN, owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment and DirecTV, is distributed throughout the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean.
