UK distributor Hat Trick is to launch the Plum Pictures-produced series and format Win It Cook It (pictured) at MIPTV in April.

The hybrid quiz and cooking competition show challenges teams of contestants to answer questions in order to the win ingredients they need to make a dish. The result is then judged by the celebrity chef host and a panel different weekly guest judges.

The British version of the format will star celeb chef host Simon Rimmer and air on Channel 4 later in the year.

Win It Cook It marks the indie producer’s first move into format creation for the global market. Hat Trick will also represent Plum Pictures-produced factual programs Mary’s Silver Service (working title), Diamonds are Forever: Inside Asprey, Going Wild with the Joneses and George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces at MIPTV, which runs April 7 to 14 in Cannes, France.
