ZDFE sells factual titles into UK, Australia

German distributor ZDF Enterprises has sold an assortment of factual titles to the UK’s BSkyB and UKTV as well as Australia’s Network 7.

Pay-TV group BSkyB made its first collaboration with ZDFE.factual, acquiring more than 60 hours of programming, including the series Hard Time, Alaska State Troopers, Navajo Cops and documentary Counterterror NYC.

Meanwhile, multichannel broadcaster UKTV acquired Rocket City Rednecks (seasons one and two), Invisible Universe (pictured, seasons one and two) and Countdown to a Catastrophe (three episodes), including the programs’ TV and VoD rights for the UK and Ireland.

Australia’s Network 7 also bought rights to the first season of Rocket City Rednecks and seasons one and two of Canada’s Bomb Hunters and Cowboys of the Sea.
