MIPTV ’14: Another day, another deal for “Boom!”

Keshet International has sold the game show to Spain's Atresmedia, in the wake of recent deals with Fox in the U.S. and TF1 in France.

Keshet International has sold its latest game show offering, Boom!, to Spain’s Altresmedia.

Its domestic launch on Channel 2 Israel last week brought in a 41.2% share and a 26.7% household rating! according to the distributor, resulting in Boom! scoring the highest game show launch to date in the country.

Other deals for the format announced during the Cannes market include sales to France’s TF1 and Fox in the U.S.

In the program, a team of four must work to defuse eight replica bombs by answering trivia questions correctly in a strict time limit, with the bombs’ wires representing multiple choice answers.

Boom! was created by Keshet, Ido Rozenblum and July August Productions.
