Producer-distributor Zed has hired Larris Dubois-Flavien (pictured) as an acquisitions and sales manager for the French market.

Formerly the international sales manager for France’s National Audiovisual Institute (INA), he will work on theatrical and broadcast distribution deals in addition to increasing the company’s presence among emerging players in the new media space.

He reports to Arnaud Fournier Montgieux, Zed’s head of editions and distribution. Dubois-Flavien spent more than a decade at INA, first in footage stales and then in TV and new media sales for French-speaking territories.

The news comes after Zed last week hired veteran documentary producer/director Christine Le Goff.
