Former Warner Horizon Television exec Drew Brown (pictured) has been named senior VP of production at AMC, where he will oversee production and post-production for the studio and network side of the business.

Prior to joining AMC, Brown was VP of production for Warner Horizon Television, where he was responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the company’s production slate, which includes such scripted series as Pretty Little Liars and Dallas.

Brown also served as head of production for the digital media group of Endemol USA, where he created an online presence for shows including Big Brother, Deal or No Deal and Wipeout. As a producer, Brown’s unscripted credits include The Voice and The Bachelor.

In his new role at AMC, the exec will report to Joel Stillerman, VP of original programming, production and digital content for AMC.

“Drew has deep experience in many genres of television including cable drama, but it is his skills as a problem solver and creative collaborator that make him so valuable,” Stillerman said in a statement. “Nothing we do fits in a box anymore, so each series needs a custom solution, and that is where Drew truly excels along with his ability to find the best way to support the vision of the people creating and producing shows for us.”
