U.S. cable net A&E has given the go-ahead for Lachey’s Bar, a 10 x 30 minute series following pop star Nick Lachey and his brother Drew as they open a tavern together in their Cincinnati hometown.

Produced by Leftfield Pictures, the series will follow the siblings as they roll up their sleeves and attempt to run a business for the first time.  Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa Minnillo, who normally reside in either New York or LA, will relocate to Cincinnati at least for the length of the docuseries, joining Drew, who returned to Ohio years ago.

The executive producers for Leftfield Pictures, part of Leftfield Entertainment, are Brent Montgomery, David George, Jordana Hochman, Will Nothacker and Jason Hollis. A&E’s executive producers are Drew Tappon, Shelly Tatro, Dave Mace and Sean Gottleib, with Nick and Drew Lachey also serving as EPs.

Lachey’s Bar will air in 2015.
