As of August 28, History and Crime + Investigation will be available on the platform’s Entertainment Extra Boost package, and Lifetime and H2 will be on the Entertainment and Entertainment Extra Boost packages.

The service’s 1.1 million customers will be able to view them for free during the weekend of August 30 and 31. The channels will be available via TalkTalk TV and on TalkTalk’s catch-up service shortly after the linear networks launch, and an on-demand launch is due later in the year.

Programs airing across the channel portfolio will include History’s Pawn Stars UK (pictured), H2′s The World Wars and Crime + Investigation’s Crimes That Shook Britain.

In related news, the company has promoted Alexandra MacDowell to SVP of production management for A+E Studios. Formerly the VP of production management, she will continue to oversee production management for the cable giant’s unscripted programming, as well as strategic production opportunities.
