Lynne Kirby (pictured), Paperny Entertainment’s executive VP of U.S. programming, is leaving her post at the end of the year to pursue other opportunities.

Kirby joined the Vancouver-based production company in its New York office in 2011 and managed its U.S. operations. She was also instrumental in building the company’s U.S. profile and finalizing deals with Travel Channel for Chow Masters, OWN for 2Fat2Fly and CNN for The Jesus Code.

“I want to thank Lynne for doing such a great job helping Paperny Entertainment establish a foothold in the U.S.,” said Paperny Entertainment president David Paperny in a statement. “We look forward to building on that strong foundation and wish Lynne the best in her next endeavor.”

Before her stint at Paperny, Kirby was a senior programming consultant for the Discovery Communications networks Discovery Fit & Health and Planet Green, and senior VP of original programming at Sundance Channel.

No replacement has been named.
