Australia’s Network Ten is bringing the Ink franchise to Sydney.

The commission will see NY Ink stars Mike Diamond and Tommy Montoya teaming up with Australian production company Unbreakable Global to makeĀ Bondi Ink.

The show will follow on the success of previous seriesĀ Miami Ink, LA Ink and NY Ink (pictured above).

Featuring a cast of top Australian artists working at the Sydney tattoo parlor known as Bondi Ink, the 10 x 60-minute show will be top-lined by Australian native Diamond, Montoya, and other guests who have appeared on previous Ink shows, as it chronicles Bondi’s busy summer season.

“I’ve thought about doing something like this for almost eight years,” said Diamond in a statement. “Now that we have everything in place, I know we are onto something really special that people all over the world are going to love.”

The series is being distributed by FremantleMedia International and filming will commence in early 2015, with expected air dates to follow later in the year.
