The transatlantic prodco is teaming up with the rough and ready TV presenter for a 3 x 60-minute series, Britain's Biggest Adventures (w/t).

Bear Grylls is bringing his brand of adventure seeking to British broadcaster ITV with a series slated to air next year.

Britain’s Biggest Adventures (w/t) will be produced by transatlantic prodco Nutopia with Bear Grylls Ventures (BGV), and will follow the intrepid television presenter and adventurer as he travels across the UK, exploring the country’s natural history, geological and botanical wonders.

Nutopia CEO Jane Root, who greenlit Grylls’ Man vs. Wild while president of Discovery Channel, said in a statement: “It’s brilliant to be reunited with Bear, years after working together on Man vs. Wild for Discovery Channel. It’ll be amazing to see Bear getting personal with the British countryside – and [we] promise this time we won’t make Bear sleep in a dead camel as Man vs. Wild once did.”

The 3 x 60-minute series was commissioned by ITV factual executives Priya Singh and Andrew O’Connell. Executive producers are Bear Grylls and Delbert Shoopman for BGV and Sam Starbuck for Nutopia, while series producer is Dale Templar.
