Twofour hires Remarkable Television exec Kitty Walshe

Former Remarkable Television exec producer Kitty Walshe (pictured) has joined UK indie Twofour as head of features and daytime.

UK indie Twofour has hired Remarkable Television exec Kitty Walshe (pictured) to be its head of features and daytime.

Effective immediately, she will oversee the company’s pre-watershed slate and exec produce some existing features.

Formerly an executive producer at Remarkable Television, Walshe’s factual credits include Secret Eaters and several fashion formats with personality Gok Wan. Prior to that, she worked at ITV on shows such as I’m A Celebrity, Hell’s Kitchen and Tenants From Hell.

In other Twofour news, BBC1 has ordered a second season of the company’s daytime series The Housing Enforcers (20 x 45 minutes), which follows consumer rights advocate Matt Allwright as he investigates poor living conditions and tackles property disputes in the UK involving landlords and tenants.

The show was commissioned by BBC commissioning executive for daytime Aisling O’Connor and is being exec produced by Twofour’s Rachel Innes-Lumsden¬†and Melanie Leach.
